by Lindsey Hefta, Director of Marketing As we shared during our Try A Credit Union introductory call last week, YourMoneyFurther has officially sunset. However, with the very successful results we are seeing with our own state-wide awareness program (SWAP), we do not want to stop increasing credit union awareness and consideration while we are building momentum! After researching multiple awareness platforms, we are very excited to partner with the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) on a new endeavor through their tryacreditunion.com program. As stated in the call, this platform will enhance our own SWAP campaign in many ways, as well as supplement any marketing campaign you are already doing for your own credit union! (NOTE: If you were not on the call and would like the link to the recording, let me know.) DakCU’s impressive awareness numbers from last year, along with our numbers so far this year, compiled with MCUL’s impressive awareness resume, is fuel for this program to continue. Michigan has a 20-year track record of success with Try A Credit Union – appealing specifically to GenX and GenZ – building the next generation of credit union members. Additionally, the Try a Credit Union assets, which include fresh social media graphics, short 6, 10, and 15 second videos, and analytics, are turn-key, and customizable to your credit union. These are available now by simply contacting me! As a bonus – as a contributing SWAP member, the Try A Credit Union website has the added capability of posting job openings, possibly bringing new, local talent into your organization, along with new members. Because this is a brand-new endeavor, we are still working out a few minor details, and there will be more communications from me in the near future. I will continue to be your resource for all Try a Credit Union assets, as well as your contact if you wish to post a job opening on this website - something that ONLY contributing Dakota credit unions will have access to! Meanwhile, continued financial support is imperative to reach our goal: 40 by 30. What does that mean? With this new partnership, we also have new goals to help YOU reach! We are aiming for 40% of the population throughout the Dakotas to be credit union members by the year 2030. How do we achieve this? Together!
