2023 Annual Summit Crashers
Our annual DakCU Summit will, once again, feature a "Crasher" opportunity for young professionals under 35. DakCU provides select attendees from the Dakotas with a career enhancing track, specifically designed for talented young professionals. Those chosen to be a Crasher will receive their Summit conference registration for FREE - thanks to our Crasher Sponsor Millennium Corporate Credit Union and will be led in a group setting by a professional credit union industry leader! The only cost Crashers and their credit union will endure are hotel rooms and travel expenses.

Let's welcome (back) this year's Crasher Facilitator and Mentor - Christopher Morris!
Christopher Morris is the Credit Union National Association's membership engagement consultant for the Midwest region, working alongside League partners to mutually serve and assist credit unions.
An award-winning speaker, facilitator and trainer, Christopher is well versed in strategy planning, innovation, business and data strategy planning, strategic communications, marketing, social media, fundraising and business development. He has worked for almost two decades in credit unions, at organizations like the National Credit Union Foundation, AdvantEdge Analytics (a CUNA Mutual Group company), and CUNA Councils.
Known as a passionate advocate for the credit union difference, Christopher is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) and earned his Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in 2005. He received both his Caribbean DE (CaribDE) designation and International CUDE (I-CUDE) designation in 2016. Additionally, he helped lead the transformational CUDE training for hundreds of credit union professionals as a mentor and facilitator.
Christopher has received the Credit Union Times' "Trailblazer 40 Below" award, is a recipient of the World Council of Credit Unions Young Credit Union People Program (WYCUP) award and has been profiled as a "rock star" by Credit Union Magazine.
Christopher is the author of the book "We Are All Made of Scars," a memoir highlighting his tumultuous teenage years along with lessons learned, released in January of 2023.
Christopher earned his BA in teaching high school English from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is a veteran of the United States Army, including NATO peacekeeping operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
