Western Cooperative CU Seeking CFO 
Western Cooperative CU is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for the Williston, ND location. This is a full-time position with Monday – Friday Hours. Responsible for assisting the credit union President/CEO in the overall management of the credit union. Direct and manage all practices and activities in the Finance and Accounting functions to ensure compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Manage auditing, accounting, and recordkeeping activities of the credit union to ensure they meet generally accepted accounting practices. Alloya GAC Scholarship Opportunity
Alloya has announced the availability of a Christine M. Gross (CMG) Scholarship for the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), being held from March 3-7, 2024. If you are an emerging industry leader under the age of 40, apply now for this scholarship! The award can be utilized to cover registration fees, hotel accommodations and travel expenses.
 
Please submit your application by January 17, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by the CMG Memorial Foundation board approximately one month before the event. All applicants will be notified via email with the results of the selection process.

SD Central Chapter Meeting
The South Dakota Central Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, January 16 at 6:00 p.m. Meet at the Dakotaland FCU Conference Room (south) for a learning session led by Steve Pierce, VP of Innovation at Black Hills FCU, on P2P apps such as Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, etc. This meeting will also be available via Zoom! Credit Unions United Meeting
The Credit Unions United Chapter has scheduled their meeting for Tuesday January 16 at Sleep Inn – 2400 10th St SW, Minot. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for social followed by dinner and roundtable discussion with John Alexander from Dakota Credit Union Association. Maurie C. Byrne Chapter Meeting
The Maurie C. Byrne Chapter is holding President’s Night with DakCU President/CEO Jeff Olson on Tuesday, January 23. Social begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Spud Jr Prohibition Room, followed by a meal and update from Olson. RSVP to Connie Johnston by January 16th.
