Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) recently donated nearly $1,500 to purchase and install a new barbeque grill for Brookside Park in Hot Springs, South Dakota. This addition is part of a larger project to make improvements throughout the city and along the riverfront.
“We’re happy to be part of the community enhancements in Hot Springs,” said Richard Dryden, BHFCU Hot Springs Manager. “Our crew enjoys having Brookside Park so close to our location. We’re already planning ways to take advantage of the new grill this spring.” Located a block from BHFCU’s Hot Springs location, Brookside Park provides a meeting place for the community along the Fall River. BHFCU’s mission is to improve the lives of its members and better its communities through projects like this. BHFCU supports community needs through corporate contributions, employee fundraisers, and contributions from members, staff, and community supporters to the Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Established in Rapid City in 1941, Black Hills Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative serving more than 92,000 members. The community-chartered credit union has locations in Hot Springs, Custer, Eagle Butte, Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, Sturgis, and Wall, South Dakota.
