Are you interested in growing your career in the credit union industry? Would you like to expand your network and gain some connections? Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) has an incredible opportunity for you.
In the interest of engaging more credit union young professionals, our Annual Summit will again feature an incredible Crasher opportunity for those age 35 or under. Not only will you have the opportunity to take in top industry speakers, you will gain valuable insight about the credit union movement, expand your knowledge, and enhance your professional development and network! “I encourage our credit union affiliates to sponsor their emerging credit union leaders as a Summit Crasher,” says Jeff Olson, DakCU President/CEO. “The Crasher program will have an enormous impact on their careers, goals, and professional development. What better way to build and sustain our movement than to provide this mentoring platform? I would also like to thank Millennium Corporate for their generous support of our Summit Crasher program. Their continued commitment to this leadership development program is vital to sustaining our credit union movement moving forward,” he added. Circe Gleeson, Marketing Manager for Millennium Corporate Credit Union, agrees. “There’s no better investment than in the personal growth of the individuals who work at and lead credit unions,” she states. “And the Summit Crasher program deliverables are priceless – experience, knowledge and networking! It’s been our privilege to serve as the Summit Crasher sponsor these last three years.” This year’s Summit will be held May 3 – 4 at the Delta Marriot Hotel and Convention Center in Fargo, ND. We are thrilled to announce that (back by popular demand) Nanci Wilson will once again be leading this year’s Crasher activities. “When I was asked to assist with the Summit Crasher program again this year, I was stoked,” said Wilson. “I always wonder what I can bring to the table to other young professionals, and I know that I want to talk about the CU movement, and the values that we hold in our personal lives and how they mesh with our career lives and cultivate lasting relationships. Really, what I try to do is to demonstrate how finding your place in the industry means aligning your values with the goals of your organization – and once you find that match, the rest tends to fall into place,” she added. Click here to apply no later than March 31. Crashers will be announced in the Memo on April 5. Those chosen to be a Crasher will receive their Summit conference registration for free. That’s a $349 value! The only cost Crashers and their credit union will endure is hotel rooms, and travel expenses. Review the complete conference agenda and speaker lineup here.
