Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) is excited to announce a new partnership with Jim Kasch and Canidae Consulting!  Under our agreement, there are several new opportunities to bring forward-thinking and impactful solutions to our Dakota credit unions.

Jim founded Canidae in 2015 after more than a decade with Disney’s very successful credit union and five years as the CEO of the start-up credit union that served Darden Restaurants.  Under our agreement, Canidae Consulting becomes a preferred provider of strategic planning services right here in the Dakotas.  These services include everything from onsite and remote strategic planning facilitation to ongoing advisory services and support, and even a self-guided program that follows Canidae’s proprietary strategic planning model.

What are the possibilities?
Through its affiliate Eleven Performance Group, Canidae will offer Leadership and Executive Development Programs.  The Executive@11 series will be offered to individual credit union leaders who are interested in improving their leadership skills.  This detailed program will be offered in two formats: a three-day offsite workshop scheduled for later this year; and a six-part online course delivered via Zoom.

Both the in-person and online versions of the program feature three components: Leading Yourself, Leading Others, and Leading the Organization.  Participants will complete personality and emotional intelligence assessments and will receive feedback via a 360-degree feedback tool.  In addition to the scheduled coursework, participants will enjoy personal sessions with an executive coach.

For credit unions interested in a company-wide leadership program, Leadership@11 delivers the same proven leadership strategies and training as Executive@11 and is a program that the credit union will own and incorporate into their own training and development regimen.

How do you know that your members are engaged, and what can you do to increase that engagement and improve performance?  Member Intelligence Group offers a full-suite Voice of the Member program for credit unions interested in gathering member feedback on service delivery and engagement.  Driven by Qualtrics, the industry leader in customer experience surveys, Member Intelligence Group brings actionable insights to even the smallest credit unions.

Sound intriguing?  Read on!
On April 1st Jim Kasch will join DakCU President/CEO Jeff Olson during our next virtual CEO Town Hall meeting, where he will share more information about the great opportunities you have through this partnership.

Catch Jim at the Summit!
Finally, we’re very pleased that Jim Kasch will be holding two featured breakout sessions at this year’s Annual Summit in Fargo!  Be sure to join him for sessions on Strategy and Leadership.  Stay tuned to The Memo for more details coming soon!
