The DakCU New Ideas Conference is always a crowd favorite – and there is a reason for that! We start with a casual atmosphere – add the latest and greatest credit union trends with key takeaways – add a pinch of entertainment and small-group workshops – and top it all off with a dollop of networking. That’s our recipe for success!
Our meeting kicks off on Monday evening, October 4, with a live cooking demo, networking social and communication style self-assessment. Find out how you can “connect the dots” from your own story directly to marketing as our meeting facilitator and emcee Lorraine Ranalli, author, corporate communications professional, and media personality introduces our conference theme and expectations. On Tuesday, October 5, we will be focusing more directly on storytelling as it relates to marketing. You will meet Lee Wojnar, VP of Marketing at OBEE Financial who will walk us through the simple steps necessary to make a real impact through “eMotion: Storytelling from Guerrilla Marketing to the Digital Divide.” Next up, “PR Lives – Telling Your Story from the Inside Out!” will demonstrate how your staff – your credit union’s most valuable asset – have an enormous influence on the perception of your brand. But wait! There’s much more! Ashish Garg, founder & CEO of Eltropy will explain how to attract new members AND increase loan volume with the help of reputation management. Speaking of lending, are you curious about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) could help your CLOs evolve with a new way of making those lending decisions? Eric Steinhoff, Credit Risk Leader at Scienaptic AI will bring insights on how you can reduce friction, eliminate costs, AND mitigate risks. Finally, we can’t say we are exploring the latest trends without continuing the discussion about blockchain and instant payments capabilities. Larry Pruss, Senior Vice President at SRM will present a summary of recent news and emerging use for cryptocurrencies. Are you ready for some New Ideas? Join us for an amazing experience in historic Deadwood, SD on October 4 – 6. Fair warning: this event has limited capacity and does fill up fast so do not wait! REGISTER NOW! Accommodations are available at the Holiday inn Resort Deadwood Mountain Grand with a special rate of $79/per night plus tax. This rate will appear when you select your dates, and note “Group Code” of DCA will appear. Contact George McDonald if you have any questions regarding your accommodations. Comments are closed.
