Join us in Deadwood, SD October 4 – 6 as we delve into the latest and greatest credit union trends!  Check out our agenda, speaker lineup, and breakout sessions available now.
DakCU is excited to announce that registration is NOW OPEN for our 2021 New Ideas Conference!  Our website has just been updated to include the complete agenda, breakout sessions, and our exciting speaker lineup!  This year, we are heading to Deadwood, SD in the beautiful Black Hills vacation area for our much-anticipated event.  2021 New Ideas is all about storytelling!  While the art of storytelling within marketing is not new, the technology for identifying, engaging, and responding to audiences is always evolving.  How effectively is your credit union telling your story?

Our meeting kicks off on Monday evening, October 4, with a networking social and communication style self-assessment.  On Tuesday, October 5, we will be focusing more directly on storytelling as it relates to marketing, with presentations ranging from “Guerilla Marketing to the Digital Divide” and “PR Lives – Telling Your Story from the Inside Out!”  We will also be exploring Reputation Management; Growth in the Post-Vaccine World using AI; the Future of Credit Union Awareness; and Decrypting Crypto and Blockchain.

On Tuesday evening, you can attend the optional fundraiser for our Dakota Credit Union Foundation; more information on the FUNdraiser will be coming soon!  Events will wrap up by noon on Wednesday, October 6, as DakCU President/CEO Jeff Olson and our meeting facilitator and emcee, Lorraine Ranalli, corporate communications professional, author, and media personality make their closing remarks.  In fact, Lorraine has prepared a personal invitation for you, which you can see here!

Fair warning: this event has limited capacity and does fill up fast, so we recommend that you make your plans now to attend and register early!  We hope to see you there.

REGISTER NOW!

Accommodations are available at the Holiday inn Resort Deadwood Mountain Grand with a special rate of $79/per night plus tax.  This rate will appear when you select your dates, and note “Group Code” of DCA will appear.  Contact George McDonald if you have any questions regarding your accommodations.
