Let’s Make This a Reality!

​ND credit unions have a rare opportunity to create a lasting legacy at our local CMN Hospital. Check out the treatment area concept AND exclusive naming opportunities here. 

This past summer, Sanford Children’s Hospital approached North Dakota credit unions with an exclusive opportunity to partner with them for a very bold campaign to fund a new micro-preemie unit.

This unit will be one of only a handful in the country, positioning Sanford Children’s as a national leader in micro-preemie care – with the support of area credit unions. Most importantly, we will give local families the best care possible, close to home, while showcasing our credit unions’ commitment to our community.

Below is a concept rendition of the entry of the proposed unit. The final name is yet to be determined, but the entire area would be named in honor of North Dakota credit unions, and each contributing credit union will be recognized at the onset. 

Once inside the unit, there will be four private treatment rooms. Each room offers a naming opportunity for those credit unions that pledge $100K. So far, North Star Community CU has claimed one of the rooms; three additional naming opportunities remain.

Please note: a pledge is just that – a pledge. Your credit union chooses WHEN to begin the financial commitment, and how much to donate per year. You may begin your pledge fulfillment as late as 2025 and spread it out over multiple years. This is not an impossible task! When credit unions work together with their staff, members, and community, great things happen! Fargo VA FCU recently raised more than $1,500 in a single day – selling donuts!
