Foundation Update

The Dakota Credit Union Foundation held a regularly scheduled virtual meeting on Wednesday, March 20. The Foundation Board of Directors would like to sincerely thank and recognize the many credit unions that supported the foundation this year with their 2024 association dues contributions.

In other news, the Foundation board will be holding an in-person meeting and planning session during the Annual Summit on May 14 at noon. Board members will also be volunteering during the Summit golf outing; we will be signing golfers in at the registration table, where we will be selling extend-a-putts, mulligans, and chances for a 50/50 raffle. Our exciting Vacation Sweepstakes will run until 7:00 p.m. on May 16; the prize drawing will take place live during the Summit Awards Banquet.

Finally, there are grants and scholarships available for DakCU member credit unions and staff for the following purposes:

• Financial Well-Being (FinTech; FiCEP certifications; youth education programs)
• Professional Development (iLead@11; other professional training as requested)
