Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Loan Processor in their Pierre, South Dakota Branch. Dakota Plains FCU offers a competitive salary and benefit package in an enjoyable work environment. Prefer someone with one year of teller experience or cash handling experience, which would have included balancing responsibilities. General office experience and credit union knowledge, in addition to excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills are desired. Training for loan processing will be provided. North Dakota Appraisers Association Offering Education for Mortgage Industry
The NDAA Board of Directors is offering a 2022 Spring Education Event on April 1, 2022 at the First International Bank and Trust conference room in Bismarck, ND. Real estate markets and residential appraisal requirements have changed significantly due to market volatility and increased oversight, which has left residential appraisers searching for new strategies to handle their appraisal assignments.
 
This seminar revisits valuation fundamentals and illustrates why you need data collection and analytical skills more than ever. Register here. There is a required textbook which you may purchase here.

Central Chapter Meeting
The Central Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, March 15 at Ryan’s Hanger – Crossroads Hotel-Huron Event Center – 100 4th Street SW – Huron, SD. Meet at 6:00 p.m.  for dinner (order from the menu) with program to follow: John Streff from VantagePoint will be talking about Crucial Security Practices for Your Credit Union. North Central Chapter Meeting
The North Central Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Thursday, March 24 at The Maddock Opera House - 114 Central Avenue – Maddock ND. Meet at 5:30 p.m. for social, followed by dinner served by Harriman’s Restaurant. The program will be a poverty simulation by Community Action Partnership of North Dakota. All chapter members are encouraged to attend this powerful presentation. RSVP to Yvonne Fossen 701-438-222, ext. 204 no later than Friday, March 18.
 
Missouri Valley Chapter CEO Panel Event
The Missouri Valley Chapter of Credit Unions has planned a CEO Panel Event for Tuesday, April 12 at The Historic Mandan Depot, 401 W. Main St, Mandan. Meet at 5:30 p.m. for social and food, followed by CEO panel discussion with open forum questions starting at 6:00 p.m. Attending CEOs include: Steve Schmitz, First Community CU; Vance Reinbold, Capital CU; Steve DeLap, Vue Community CU; and Paul Brucker, Railway CU.  RSVP here.
 
Dakotas Sister Society Plans March Meeting
Everyone is invited to join the next Dakotas Sister Society Meeting on Thursday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m. (CT) with special guest speaker Christopher Morris, Engagement Consultant from CUNA!
