Levo FCU Named “Best of Sioux Falls”
Levo FCU (formerly Sioux Falls FCU) was recently named by The Best of Sioux Falls as an area favorite in the banking category. The credit union appeared #2 on the list, which allows local consumers to vote for their favorites in a survey format. Dakota Plains FCU Seeking Loan Processor
Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Loan Processor in their Pierre, South Dakota Branch. President/CEO Opportunity in Nebraska 
Heartland Area Federal Credit Union, located in Omaha, Nebraska, with $22+ million in assets, is seeking an experienced executive for the position of President/Chief Executive Officer. A candidate should have a proven track record of excellence as an executive or senior management team member along with a strong business and financial background. The individual must have the ability to work with the board of directors in refining the strategic direction of the credit union; ensure short- and long-term financial health, provide outstanding and innovative service to members, ensure operational efficiencies, and establish a strong corporate presence. Qualified candidates must have over 5 years of executive or senior management experience in a financial institution. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Salary commensurate to experience. Levo FCU Seeking Assistant VP of Business Services 
The Assistant VP of Business Services is responsible for the overall success of the Business Services department and staff. You'll work to increase and maintain its asset quality by developing both new and existing business relationships by examining, evaluating, and authorizing or recommending approval of member applications for commercial loans. You're a trusted voice for our members and will work to identify and align new and existing loan members with additional products and services.

Alloya Launching Educational Community for Faster Payments
Alloya Corporate FCU has introduced a new educational community for faster and real-time payments. The community, titled Alloya Insights: Faster Payments, is designed to help credit unions better understand the rapidly evolving landscape of faster and real-time payments, establish a community where credit unions can learn from and help one another, and develop and implement a faster payments member experience strategy.
 
By joining the community, credit unions will gain access to a series of live educational webinars, virtual interactive roundtable events, an online portal that includes a Q&A forum, answers to FAQs, topic briefings and blog posts, and much more. In essence, Alloya’s team of experts will dedicate the requisite time and effort to stay involved with the latest research, developments and industry groups, then synthesize the information and provide it to the community participants in a way that’s easy to understand. To join, credit unions will pay a one-time fee of $2,500 for 12 months of program access.

Central Chapter Meeting Scheduled
The Central Chapter has scheduled their meeting for Tuesday, February 15 at Scoreboard Bar & Grill – 56 3rd Street SE – Huron SD. Requirements for GAC Attendees
Be sure to refer back to the DakCU GAC “one stop” page frequently for the latest on mask and vaccine requirements for indoor venues, including the Convention Center where the GAC will be held. The situation is fluid and we are paying close attention. As of now, anyone over age 12 must be fully vaccinated by February 15, 2022.
 
CUNA has agreed to remove any cancelation deadlines on registrations; however, the hotel deadline to cancel is January 31st.  If you are in the DakCU hotel block and want to cancel, please reach out to Debbie Kruckenberg at dkruckenberg@dakcu.org for assistance.
