DakCU Board of Directors Update

Three seats are up for election at our annual meeting in Rapid City; interested candidates should contact the nominating committee by April 11. 

Three of our Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) Board of Directors’ terms will be expiring this year. An election will be held at the Annual Meeting during the Summit in Rapid City on May 11, 2022.

SD Division A is currently filled by Jarrod Reisner, Black Hills FCU. Jarrod serves as the DakCU board chair, and he will be seeking another term.

ND Division B is currently filled by Lacey Fetsch, University FCU. Lacey serves as Secretary/Treasurer for both DakCU and DakCUSC boards, and she will also be seeking another term.

SD Division C is currently filled by Jerry Peterson, board member with Consumers FCU. Jerry will not be seeking another term.  Any credit union within SD Division C that is affiliated with Dakota Credit Union Association has the right to nominate a candidate to represent their division.

To nominate an individual for the open board positions, the nomination form must be completed and signed by the president/board chair of the nominating credit union.

The call for nominations was sent to all CEOs and board chairs on February 10. You can also request a form by contacting Karla Clark, DakCU CFO.

The completed nomination form should be returned to Jane Duerre, Nominating Committee Chair at Norstar Federal Credit Union, Box 917, Britton, SD 57430. Nominations must be received no later than April 11, 2022.
