Growing a small credit union doesn’t come with a step-by-step guide, does it? Well, what if it did?
CUNA has announced the launch of a new project called "Small Credit Union Blueprints for Success,” that asks credit unions nationwide to write up detailed guides on how they’ve grown their shops, and how you can do it too. This exciting new resource will assemble how-to strategies that credit unions from across the country have used to grow and thrive. The submissions should include in-depth descriptions of how your credit union achieved success, to be turned into a compilation of strategies (and how-tos) that small credit unions can use to advance their success. But don’t be overwhelmed – your submission doesn’t have to be a ten-page report; you can enter with just a page or two. CUNA truly wants to hear from as many small credit unions as possible on this topic. For this project to be successful, CUNA needs your help. The more submissions they receive, the more impactful this resource will become. We encourage our Dakota small credit unions to participate as we work collectively to strengthen small credit unions across the country. Can you describe a strategy you have executed in areas of lending, marketing, member service, new niches, talent, technology, or DEI? The CUNA Small Credit Union Committee will select the best entries at the end of the process, and the winning entries will receive full scholarships to the 2024 Governmental Affairs Conference, including registration, airfare, and hotels! Click here for more details and submission form. Contest is open now to Dec. 22, 2023. Comments are closed.
