Early arrivals for the 2022 Summit spent Tuesday afternoon at the beautiful Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City for DakCU’s Annual Golf Scramble, the traditional Summit “kickoff” recreational event. The scramble was at full capacity, with 72 credit union professionals, vendors, and guests, making up 18 teams.
Meadowbrook is a local favorite; an 18-hole championship facility located at the foot of the beautiful Black Hills. In fact, Meadowbrook Golf Course has been voted “Black Hills Best” by the Rapid City Journal Reader’s Choice Awards on two occasions. It features a parkland-style course with cottonwood, spruce, pine and apple trees covering over 6,900 yards, with Rapid Creek winding through the entire course. With such gorgeous scenery and company, everyone who participated was clearly a winner!
Here are the official results from the scramble:
First Place goes to – Floyd Rummell III, Candy Host, Kelly Pfeifer, and Zachary Dosch
Second Place honors go to – Joey Rotert, Miriam Ackerman, Jarrod Reisner, and Joanna Bergrud
Other notable awards went to:
Women’s Longest Drive – Candy Host
Men's Longest Drive – Zach Dosch
Men's Closest to the Pin – Joey Rotert
Women's Closest to the Pin – Kyla Wright
Longest Putt – Andy Roquet
AND Highest Score – Jane Duerre, Tim Bruculere, Pat Murtha, and Julie Hatfield
