Golf fans attending the 2024 Summit spent Wednesday afternoon at “The Falls” award-winning course for DakCU’s Annual Golf Scramble, a traditional Summit recreational event. The scramble was at full capacity, with more than 80 credit union professionals, business partners, and guests, making up 18 unique teams. The Dakota Credit Union Foundation board volunteered to handle registration and add-on games, and thanks to the generosity of the golfers, an additional $1,360 was contributed from the sales of mulligans and extend-a-putts. Additionally, a 50/50 raffle was held which brought in another $1,210 after paying the winner, all of which will go to our charitable foundation to support their mission of financial well-being for all. This is the first time our event has been held at this course, which was designed by Rees Jones. Spanning over 7,100 yards, it features panoramic views of the countryside and includes a 30-foot waterfall that flows into a 12-acre lake. The beautiful course provided a memorable golfing experience all! Here are the official results from the scramble: First Place Team goes to – Rotert/Lombardo/Thill/Weber Second Place honors go to – Lilleby/Klobuchar/Engbrecht/Bakke Other notable awards went to: Women’s Longest Drive – Candy Host Men's Longest Drive – Tim Sandquist Men's Closest to the Pin – Ian Friswold Women's Closest to the Pin – Theresa Thill Longest Putt – Shannon Webster Highest Score Team – Thompson/Thompson/Schoon/Yoko Once again, thank you to all those who joined us on the course. We hope you enjoyed this networking opportunity, and your support of our annual outing is truly appreciated. On a side note, the Dakota Credit Union Foundation will hold their annual Golf Scramble on Tuesday, August 14th – at Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo.
