Riverfork Federal Credit Union based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is now seeking its next CEO. With $30 million in assets and nearly 2,200 members, the credit union focuses on its community, members, vision, teamwork, and products to achieve success.
Riverfork has been serving the Grand Forks area since 1959 and desires a forward-thinking, community-oriented, service-focused leader to work with an engaged Board of Directors. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, planning, and oversight of all credit union activities in accordance with policies and objectives established by the Board of Directors. The CEO will be responsible for the successful and continued growth of Riverfork FCU, while providing effective management, oversight, and development of employees. Additional duties include analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of all operations, leading change where necessary, and advancing organizational leadership and culture. This individual will be an approachable leader who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, this person will exhibit a team-oriented approach to management, and have a strong desire to be an integral part of the community and industry. Successful candidates will understand the changing economy and developing technology, and how those areas affect the credit union's field of membership directly. A dedication to the financial services industry, bachelor's degree preferably in finance or related field, and minimum of five years' experience in a financial institution at the executive management level is required.
