Railway Credit Union (Mandan, ND) is pleased to announce the induction of three credit union advocates into their Hall of Fame for 2022. Railway CU Board Chairman Douglas M. Erhart officially announced the three names in a press release. The three 2022 inductees are: James L. Jensen: RCU Director & Secretary-Treasurer, Past RCU Vice-Chairman, and 29 Years of RCU volunteer service. Ellen M. Forderer: RCU Supervisory Committee member, Past Director & Chairman of the Board Soo-Line CU, 37 Years of combined RCU & Soo-Line CU volunteer service. Addison E. Fry: RCU Director & Vice-Chairman, 23 Years of RCU volunteer service. Director Jensen remarked when he saw a large brown envelope in the mail he briefly thought “maybe I won a million dollars!” However, after reading his induction announcement he stated, “This is even better than the million!”
Ellen commented, “It’s an unexpected humbling experience.” Addison mentioned what a great honor it was to receive this, and that so many have contributed so much over the years, he’s unsure if he is deserving. The credit union reinstated their Hall of Fame “Tradition of Excellence” last year after a ten-year hiatus. RCU Chairman Erhart wishes to congratulate these fine individuals on a job well done and stated, “We look forward to recognizing additional RCU Champions on their credit union accomplishments in the upcoming years.” Jensen, Forderer, and Fry join RCU’s current Hall of Fame members: JP Brucker, Jackie Krause, Leonard Ciavarella, Loren Wetch, Douglas Erhart, and Paul Brucker.
