SWAP Across the Dakotas
We currently have all of our SWAP dollars allocated and/or live already for this year through May of 2024 – hopefully you have seen our various media placements, including digital and printed billboards, Gas Station TV (GSTV), and both online and printed newspaper ads to name a few. Digital geofencing ads will begin in September, in locations where we have participating credit unions.

Preliminary numbers for GSTV indicate we are off to a great start, with over 830,000 impressions delivered at the pumps – just through June!

In addition to our local SWAP campaign, the national campaign through CU Awareness/YourMoneyFurther is continuing their digital outreach across the Dakotas through Google ads and YouTube ads as well as on social media.

White paper due soon.
In other news – due out soon, the team at CU Awareness will release a comprehensive white paper titled "The Impact of Credit Union Awareness." This exciting overview of the program since its inception will highlight the many measurable impacts and learnings the successful initiative has created after nearly five years. The data shows that CU Awareness and the Your Money Further campaign have contributed to a significant change in credit union market share nationwide. From 1992 to the end of 2018, credit union market share increased from 5.6% to 7.5%, a 1.9% increase over 26 years. After the launch of the national awareness and consideration initiative in January 2019 through Q1 2023, market share increased to 8.6%—a 1.1% increase in just under five years.

2023 Consumer Consideration Research to deliver additional insights.
The latest consumer consideration is expected to deliver additional insights on the long-term influence of Your Money Furthers impact on consumer awareness. This will be available for program participants to view in late August or early September.

As always, If you have any questions regarding our advertising placements, analytics, or how to make sure your credit union is taking advantage of your customized preferred listing on YourMoneyFurther, feel free to contact me.
