NSCCU Begins Construction!

​This credit union is breaking ground on a second Minot location creating job opportunities and economic growth for the community. 

North Star Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the groundbreaking and commencement of construction for its second branch location in Minot, signaling a significant step forward in the company’s expansion and dedication to serving the Minot community. The new location is set to open in the spring of 2025 and will give community members in north Minot the opportunity to experience the many benefits of a credit union.

North Star Community Credit Union, headquartered in Maddock, ND, has 12 locations across central and northeastern North Dakota, including: Maddock, Rugby, Bottineau, Cavalier, Grafton, Minot, Minot AFB, Velva, Butte, Willow City, Tolna and Devils Lake. North Star continues to serve its communities and has grown steadily since 1940, from membership of 149 to a present count of over 22,900 members and assets in excess of $465 million. The new branch in north Minot will mark the opening of North Star Community Credit Union’s 13th retail branch location.

Bringing together more than 25 years of design-build expertise, North Star Community Credit Union has partnered with wild|crg, based in Fargo, ND. wild|crg uses a professional design-build process giving a single source for architecture and construction management.

The new branch will feature four drive through lanes in addition to a 24/7 deposit accepting ATM as well as enhanced ADA accessibility, leading-edge technology and artistic ties to the local community. Additionally, the facility will create job opportunities and contribute to the economic growth in the region.
