The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), along with many federal, state, and local agencies, consumer groups, and national advocacy organizations, are participating in the 24th annual National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) March 6 – 12, 2022.
NCPW is a time to help people understand their consumer rights and avoid frauds and scams. It is a coordinated campaign designed to focus on the importance of keeping consumers informed while providing them with free resources explaining their rights in the marketplace. This information is valuable to credit unions and credit union members, and we encourage you to join in! Help spread the word with FREE social media images. Encourage your audience to tell friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors about NCPW. Word of mouth is powerful! The FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection protects people from scams, identity theft, and other unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practices. Click here to learn more about consumer topics. Report scams, fraud, and bad business practices online at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Subscribe here to get consumer alerts about the latest scams and consumer protection issues. Finally, follow FTC and USAGov on social media for more tips and updates.
