Levo CU Announces Expansion

South Dakota’s oldest credit union will now offer services to 29 counties along the I29 corridor from Sioux City to Fargo!  

Levo Credit Union has announced they will now offer financial services to 29 counties stretching along the I-29 corridor from Sioux City, Iowa to Fargo, North Dakota. This means anyone who works, lives, worships, attends school, or volunteers in these counties, and their immediate family members, can apply to be a member and take advantage of Levo’s low loan rates, high savings interest rates, and great service. Businesses and other legal entities operating in these counties are also eligible for membership.
 
Levo has served four counties around Sioux Falls since 1934: Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook. Levo’s services include checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgage loans, home equity loans, credit cards, and business loans.

Currently, Levo offers six Sioux Falls branches and has more than 33,000 members. It has been voted the Local Best in financial services for more than a decade. Some members have been with Levo for almost 70 years!

The expansion is not the result of a merger or acquisition; it is simply an extension of Levo’s service area. To expand their field of membership, Levo filed an extensive application to the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), demonstrating that it will bring value to the new community it wishes to serve. In Levo’s case, it was previously able to offer services to people who live, work, worship, or attend school in Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook counties. Levo’s new field of membership adds 25 counties and will include a total 29 of counties in eastern South Dakota, southeast North Dakota, northwest Iowa, and west central Minnesota.

South Dakota: Beadle, Brookings, Brown, Clay, Codington, Davison, Day, Grant, Hamlin, Hanson, Kingsbury, Lake, Lincoln, Marshall, McCook, Minnehaha, Moody, Roberts, Turner, Union, and Yankton.
