![]() Good morning! Aren’t we all loving the start of summer? But, we know what that means – you’re busy trying to balance work and family fun, and at the association, so are we. I know everyone’s time is precious this time of year, and if something isn’t toward the top of the priorities list, it may not catch your eye. However, I highly recommend all our South Dakota members take 5-10 minutes this morning to review the results of yesterday’s primary elections. As of this morning, 186,894 is the number of South Dakotans that cast ballots, with one precinct yet to report. You can quickly find all the results here. Find Statewide Races here. Some people tend to overlook the primaries, planning to pay closer attention to the the General Election in November thinking that’s when their next elected officials are truly decided. However, many races were decided last night due to the lack of democrat challenges in many districts for the general election. In fact, the winners of many of yesterday’s primary races have already punched their legislative tickets and will not face a challenger in the general. We will cover those races next week along with North Dakota’s primary elections taking place next Tuesday, June 14th. Don’t forget to get out and vote!
As always, thank you for your continued support, and don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. Comments are closed.
