Staff from Highmark Federal Credit Union in Rapid City, South Dakota has been making a big difference in their community this month! On September 15, more than a dozen team members volunteered for the United Way Month of Caring. In short time, the employees all pitched in to pull weeds, transplant flowers and clean up Memorial Park Promenade for the community to enjoy. In addition, the Highmark Community Crew was out last weekend, lending muscle to a new Black Hills Area Habitat For Humanity home being built. Five staff members helped hang sheetrock and shared some laughter for this worthy cause. As their Facebook post said, “People Helping People – That's what makes credit unions special!
