Healthcare Plus FCU “Coffee with Dusty”

​This credit union recently hosted South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson at their office in Aberdeen.

​Healthcare Plus FCU had reason to be joyful this past Christmas season, when they won “Coffee with Dusty” at the Aberdeen Christmas with the Chamber event. Each year, the chamber has a silent auction, usually with an item from the South Dakota congressman or one of the senators. Healthcare Plus President Guy Trenhaile made an offer on the “Coffee with Dusty” item and secured the win.
 
Last week, the credit union hosted Dusty at their Aberdeen office along with the credit union’s board chair, Scott Lunzman and board member Helen Torrence in attendance. 
 
“We just spoke casually, for the most part,” reported Trenhaile. “The congressman is a very smart individual and demonstrated that he has much more than just surface level knowledge on many subjects – including credit unions, healthcare, mental health and addiction, education, and of course, the most important topic – pool!”
 
As it turns out, Trenhaile has competed many times at pool tournaments against the congressman’s father over the years, however Dusty shared he never caught the billiards bug and isn’t very good at that particular sport. 
 
Staff at Healthcare Plus FCU provided a tour to the esteemed visitor and even offered him a job – if he is ever in need of some additional part-time work!
