The Dakota Credit Union Foundation held their 7th Annual Golf Scramble on Wednesday, August 16, at the Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo, ND. More than 80 individuals making up 20 teams representing 14 unique credit unions as well as many of our business solution partners made their way through the popular course. It was a beautiful day of comradery and networking, with a chance to win $10,000 if they scored a hole-in-one on hole #7. At the end of the day, even though no one was able to capture the hole-in-one prize, fun was had by all. Thanks to a $5,000 Miracle Match from Co-op Solutions, a surprise contribution of $1,000 from the Red River Chapter of Credit Unions, along with the many sponsors and players, the Foundation presented a check to Sanford Children’s Hospital for $25,000. The funds will be dedicated to the new Micropreemie Care Unit. As always, Dakotas’ credit unions are happy to support the kids and the special care provided to sick and injured children at our regional CMN Hospitals.
