![]() One of the best parts of the credit union industry is how involved in our local communities we are. Whether it’s donating to the local sports teams, teaching financial well-being skills, or responding to an immediate need from a natural disaster, credit unions are always there to lend a helping hand. This is where the Dakota Credit Union Foundation can also lend a hand. The Foundation offers grants to help support your efforts locally. For example, one of the grants that we recently helped to fund was sponsoring the Sioux Falls Junior Achievement chapter on behalf of Levo Credit Union (formerly known as Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union). This type of sponsorship fits well with our goals for credit unions and will help continue the Foundation’s goals of providing financial wellness opportunities to our members. Does your credit union have a project that you are looking to fund and think it may be a great fit for our grant program? Don’t hesitate to reach out! The Dakota Credit Union Foundation meets each month and reviews applications. For more information, feel free to reach out to me, Kayla Pulvermacher, Executive Director of the Dakota Credit Union Foundation. I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the New Ideas Conference in Deadwood next week! Comments are closed.
