For someone who “never liked math in school,” Dee Dee Kraft’s career has been spent working quite extensively with numbers. She first worked at US Bank for 5 years, then worked at Metropolitan Federal Savings & Loan for 17 years, working her way up through the ranks. When a position became available at Minot Area Schools FCU, Dee Dee applied and thus began her career in the credit union industry more than 25 years ago. For DeeDee, the most enjoyable part of working at the credit union has been seeing the network of people all working together, rather than competing against each other. “The not-for-profit principles mean that we are able to truly serve our members, the best that we can. It’s so easy to come to work every day when you love your job, and the people you work with,” she remarked in her 2018 CEO Spotlight feature. Tomorrow, April 22nd, Minot Area Schools FCU will be hosting an Open House in honor of her retirement. Be sure to stop by their office at 215 2nd Street SE in Minot between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. to wish her well. Congratulations Dee Dee! Comments are closed.
