Oahe FCU donates $1,000 to Holiday Youth Drive
Oahe Federal Credit Union has generously donated $1,000 to the Cheyenne River Youth Project's Holiday Youth Drive, aiding them in filling the shortfall of 250 wishes in their toy drive this year. This program, established in 1990, caters to over a thousand children spread across 20 communities. Every child submitting a wish list receives three to four of their desired items and much-needed winter clothing. Other credit unions interested in joining this charitable endeavor this year or in the future are urged to visit lakotayouth.org/toy-drive to lend a helping hand.
 
Western Cooperative CU Seeking CFO 
Western Cooperative CU is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for the Williston, ND location. This is a full-time position with Monday – Friday Hours. Responsible for assisting the credit union President/CEO in the overall management of the credit union. Direct and manage all practices and activities in the Finance and Accounting functions to ensure compliance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Manage auditing, accounting, and recordkeeping activities of the credit union to ensure they meet generally accepted accounting practices. CEO Opportunity in SD
Sisseton Wahpeton Federal Credit Union, located in Agency Village, South Dakota, is currently in search of a President/CEO. The credit union has $6 million in assets and is serving over 1,300 members.  Working together with the board of directors, the initial responsibility for the incoming executive will be to lead a team that can propel the credit union forward. Additionally, this individual will implement sound operational procedures at the credit union, develop a strategic plan forward, establish and maintain sound relationships with auditors and regulators, and develop a relationship based on trust and transparency with the board of directors. Alloya GAC Scholarship Opportunity
Alloya has announced the availability of a Christine M. Gross (CMG) Scholarship for the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), being held from March 3-7, 2024. If you are an emerging industry leader under the age of 40, apply now for this scholarship! The award can be utilized to cover registration fees, hotel accommodations and travel expenses.
 
Please submit your application by January 17, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by the CMG Memorial Foundation board approximately one month before the event. All applicants will be notified via email with the results of the selection process.
