Town & Country CU Announces Certified CU Financial Counselors Town & Country Credit Union (Minot, ND) has announced three staff members recently earned their designations as Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors. They join 14 other financial counselors at the credit union who are ready and able to assist members in achieving financial security and reaching their goals through one-on-one consultations or by providing support to businesses and/or other organizations. Congratulations to Dan Richter, Josh Moen, and Calvin Riggs on this accomplishment! Aspire CU Adds Team Member Aspire Credit Union is pleased to announce Tyler Parks has joined the credit union movement. Working on the teller line as a Member Service Representative, Tyler Parks is no stranger to providing excellent customer service, having previously served 10 years with the United States Air Force. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Parks landed his most recent assignment on Minot Air Force Base in 2017. His position within the 5th Medical Group provided him with a diverse group of people to support from all over the world. During his seven-year stint on the Minot base, Parks met his wife, and the Magic City became a place to call home. Please join us in welcoming Tyler to the credit union family! Capital CU Announces Promotions Austin Kahler was recently promoted to vice president of credit at Capital Credit Union’s Main Office in Bismarck. He will also join the credit union’s Senior Management Team. As vice president of credit, Kahler will assist in overseeing the credit union’s credit culture and quality. He will also supervise analysis and underwriting of commercial and agricultural credit requests and determine credit risk and compliance with laws, regulations and policies pertaining to member business lending functions. Kahler earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Business from the University of Mary. He currently serves on the board of directors of Mandan Kiwanis. He has been with Capital Credit Union since 2017, most recently as director of credit at the Main Office. Leanne Holzer was promoted to vice president of operations at Capital Credit Union’s Main Office in Bismarck. She has also joined the credit union’s Senior Management Team. In her new role, Holzer is responsible for the management and oversight of all operations pertaining to business, consumer and mortgage loans, as well as the credit union’s Electronic Services Department. Holzer was born and raised in Bismarck and attended Bismarck State College. She has been with Capital Credit Union for 42 years, most recently as loan operations manager at the Main Office. Holzer and her husband, Keith, live in Bismarck. Maurie C. Byrne Chapter Meeting The Maurie C. Byrne Chapter is holding President’s Night with DakCU President/CEO Jeff Olson on Tuesday, January 23. Social begins at 6:00 p.m. at The Spud Jr Prohibition Room, followed by a meal and update from Olson. RSVP to Connie Johnston.
