Capital Credit Union Promotes Strickland
Kiara Strickland was recently promoted to universal services representative at Capital Credit Union’s Hazen Branch. In this role, she will be responsible for consumer lending including auto, recreational vehicle and home equity loans; delivery of deposit products such as checking accounts, high-yield savings accounts and certificates of deposit; and actively soliciting, promoting and servicing credit union products and services. Strickland has been with Capital Credit Union since July 2023, most recently as a member services associate at the Hazen Branch. Prior to that, she worked as a customer service representative at Dakota Community Bank & Trust. Strickland earned an Associate in Arts and Associate in Science from Bismarck State College in 2021 and currently lives in Beulah.
 
CEO Opportunity in SD
Sisseton Wahpeton Federal Credit Union, located in Agency Village, South Dakota, is currently in search of a President/CEO. The credit union has $6 million in assets and is serving over 1,300 members.  Working together with the board of directors, the initial responsibility for the incoming executive will be to lead a team that can propel the credit union forward. Additionally, this individual will implement sound operational procedures at the credit union, develop a strategic plan forward, establish and maintain sound relationships with auditors and regulators, and develop a relationship based on trust and transparency with the board of directors. The Maurie C Byrne Chapter has scheduled their meeting for Tuesday, December 5, at the Spud Jr. Prohibition Room, 302 Demers Ave, East Grand Forks.
