Contact Lindsey Hefta, Director of Marketing, if you have questions about the app. NCUA 2023 CDRLF Grant Round Open Credit unions eligible for Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grants in 2023 can apply between May 1 and June 30, 2023. Grant requirements, application instructions, and other important information are available on the grants program page of NCUA.gov. Grant applications must be submitted online through the NCUA’s CyberGrants portal. Financial Crimes Against Older Adults – a FREE webinar In recognition of Older Americans Month, the NCUA is partnering with the AARP and the CFPB to host a webinar that addresses how society views and talks about financial crimes against older adults. “Reframe the Shame: A Conversation About Financial Crimes Against Older Adults” will be held on Thursday, May 18, at 12:00 p.m. (CT). AARP will discuss how society views and treats victims of frauds and scams, the language used when discussing frauds and scams against older Americans, and the detrimental impact it may have on this population, especially when reporting financial crimes. The NCUA and CFPB will share best practices and resources available to raise awareness and reduce the potential for financial crimes against older adults. Register here.
