Dakotaland Names Dane Dornbusch Branch Manager at Brookings Dakotaland Federal Credit Union has announced the appointment of Dane Dornbusch as branch manager of the Brookings location. Dornbusch assumed the branch manager responsibilities after past manager Gene Bjorklund returned to the Dakotaland location in Volga. Excelling as a business loan officer since joining Dakotaland in May 2022, Dornbusch is a strong advocate for the credit union. He attended South Dakota State University and holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business; he is also certified in Bloomberg Market Concepts. In 2023 he graduated from the Leadership Brookings program. Capital Credit Union Promotes Stampka Kyla Stampka was recently promoted to vice president of accounting at Capital Credit Union’s Main Office in Bismarck. She will also join the credit union’s Senior Management Team. As vice president of accounting, Stampka will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, directing the activities of the Accounting Department and assisting in managing the credit union’s investment portfolio. Stampka earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Mary in 2003, and lives in Bismarck with her husband, Matt, and daughters, Kailey and Emmalie. She has been with Capital Credit Union for 13 years, most recently as controller at the Main Office. Last Change – Alloya GAC Scholarship The deadline to apply for the Alloya Scholarship for the Governmental Affairs Conference (March 3-7, 2024) is rapidly approaching.
