Aspire CU Adds Kayli Olson to Lending Team
Aspire Credit Union is delighted to introduce Kayli Olson as the new Jr. Assistant Loan Officer in the loan department. Olson, a graduate of Minot State University with a major in Business Management, brings a diverse skill set and experience in managing contracts to her role. In her position, Olson will collaborate closely with Aspire’s dynamic mortgage team to assist members with our wide range of home loan options. Her enthusiasm and eagerness to work with a supportive team that prioritizes helping others and expanding her knowledge in lending make her a valuable addition to the department!
 
NCUA Opening $3.4M Grant Round
Low-income designated credit unions can apply for 2024 Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF) grants from NCUA between now and July 1. The 2024 CDRLF grant round is open to credit unions with a low-income designation. The agency will administer more than $3.4 million in CDRLF grants to the most-qualified applicants, subject to the availability of funds, and will host a webinar in May to explain the grants process. Credit Unions United Chapter Meeting
The Credit Unions United Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, May 21, at Sleep Inn, 2400 10th St SW in Minot. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with dinner and BSA training to follow. Kindly RSVP to Jennifer Jerauld no later than May 14.
 
ACE Institute Planned for Bismarck-Mandan
The Association of Cooperative Educators (ACE) invites you to support its Annual Institute to be held in Bismarck-Mandan June 24 - 27. This year’s theme is: Cultivating Co-operation. The Association of Cooperative Educators is an international nonprofit that convenes co-operative educators to strengthen co-operatives and the co-operative movement internationally. It is a forum for the sharing of innovative educational content and practices. ACE members span the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. ACE offers programming in English, French, and Spanish. ACE benefits the cooperative movement by promoting best practices in co-operative education; developing networks between co-operatives, universities, and other supporting organizations; building capacity to support the development of innovation and understanding in co-operatives; spreading the word by providing resources on co-operative education; and celebrating the diversity of the co-operative movement.
