Capital CU Announces Promotions Capital Credit Union has announced the promotion of Chris Nelson to director of sales and consumer lending, Dustin Bitz to director of financial education, and Carlynn Faris to director of member services. As director of sales and consumer lending, Nelson will be responsible for executing the sales and service strategies of the Financial Services Department to achieve overall credit union branch and department goals, overseeing branch managers and financial services representatives in the credit union's central and western markets, assisting with sales and service training and coaching for all financial services staff and providing members with products and services on a variety of complex transactions. Nelson has been with Capital Credit Union since 2010. As director of financial education, Bitz will be responsible for Capital Credit Union’s internal and external financial education and literacy programs, assisting with new business development activities, and actively promoting the credit union. Bitz has been with the credit union since 1999. As director of member services, Faris will be responsible for the coordination of branch functions for member services staff in the credit union's central and western markets, managing and overseeing the Contact Center and Training & Support Department, and providing support, training and guidance to all branches while working to achieve the overall service goals for Capital Credit Union.
