​Western Cooperative Credit Union Announces James Moe as CFO
Western Cooperative Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of James Moe as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to beginning his new role at the credit union, Moe served as a Regional Lab Director for CommonSpirit Health. At the credit union, he will oversee the finances and accounting, security, and investments. Originally from Northwood, North Dakota, Moe holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Jamestown. For the past 20+ years, he has been part of the Williston, ND community, and is actively involved through his volunteer work. He and his wife, Amanda, have three children.

Tiffany Janssen recognized as “Up-And-Comer”
Tiffany Janssen, marketing manager at Bluestone FCU (Sioux Falls, SD) was recently recognized by SiouxFalls.Business as an “Up-And-Comer.” In her interview, Tiffany shared that she came from a family that sometimes struggled financially. Through her role at her credit union, she can make a difference by telling others about credit unions. She also enjoys sharing the many resources Bluestone offers that help their members save money, make money, and learn more about their money.
 
North Central Chapter Meeting
The North Central Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, April 23, at the Maddock Opera House, 114 Central Ave in Maddock. Meet at 5:30 p.m. for social followed by dinner and special presentation by Melanie Bauer-Dukart and Denise Sundeen with USDA. Please RSVP to Meagan Gilliss by noon on April 18.
 
Red River Chapter Annual Meeting
The Red River Chapter has scheduled their annual meeting for Thursday, April 25, at The Bowler, 2630 S University Drive in Fargo. Meeting agenda: Nominating Committee Report, start time 5:30 with a fun evening of bowling, networking, and pizza to follow. There is no cost to attend but please RSVP to [email protected] by April 18.
 
Maurie C Byrne Chapter Meeting
The Maurie C Byrne Chapter has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday, April 30, at North Dakota Museum of Art, 261 Centennial Drive, Grand Forks. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for social, followed by dinner and speaker Sarah Newgard, a local business owner. She will be sharing simple steps to improve your mindset and increase your energy every day. These practical, easy to adapt changes, can make a huge difference in how you show up for work, and for your life. Get ready for a fun, high energy discussion on how to benefit from an intentional mindset. As an added bonus, a professional photographer will be on hand to take free headshots! ACE Institute Planned for Bismarck-Mandan
The Association of Cooperative Educators (ACE) invites you to support its Annual Institute to be held in Bismarck-Mandan June 24 - 27. This year’s theme is: Cultivating Co-operation. The Association of Cooperative Educators is an international nonprofit that convenes co-operative educators to strengthen co-operatives and the co-operative movement internationally. It is a forum for the sharing of innovative educational content and practices. ACE members span the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. ACE offers programming in English, French, and Spanish. ACE benefits the cooperative movement by promoting best practices in co-operative education; developing networks between co-operatives, universities, and other supporting organizations; building capacity to support the development of innovation and understanding in co-operatives; spreading the word by providing resources on co-operative education; and celebrating the diversity of the co-operative movement. Click here to learn more and explore sponsorship options.

Our iLead@11 DakCU Emerging Leader Program is designed specifically for emerging leaders in the credit union industry, based on the popular Leadership@11 program designed by Eleven Performance Group.
