 by Kayla Pulvermacher, Foundation Director Credit Union Night at the Larks During these dog days of summer, everyone is doing their best to get in that last camping trip, that last day at the pool, or that last game at the local baseball park. Yesterday, the Dakota Credit Union Foundation did just that! Although the game happened to fall on one of the hottest days of the summer, Credit Union Night at the Bismarck Larks was filled with hot dogs, cold drinks and great baseball. Thanks to everyone who came out for a game on a very hot afternoon! We were able to partake in the 50/50 raffle and educate the public at large on the importance of credit unions in their community. Win Big at Golf Scramble We are just a few weeks away from our annual Dakota Credit Union Foundation Golf Scramble on August 26th, and we’re “scrambling” to get everything prepared for the big day. The Foundation continues to look for new ways to make our largest fundraiser an enjoyable time for everyone who participates. In addition to making this year’s golf outing a “Play Yellow” event, the Foundation has added two ways for our golfers to win big. Sponsored by Computer One, we will have two hole-in-one giveaways! Hole number 4 at Apple Creek will be worth $10,000 – and hole number 7 will be worth $5,000. As an added bonus, if a hole-in-one is made, an additional 20 percent of the prize value will be paid to the Dakota Credit Union Foundation! What a great way to have fun and support the Foundation!
