Dakota Credit Union Foundation Awards Additional Grant!

​One more credit union is signing on with Zogo to provide financial education resources for their members with the help of a $1,000 grant from our Foundation.   

The Dakota Credit Union Foundation (Foundation) has approved one additional grant for the Zogo app. Vue Community CU (Bismarck, ND) was unanimously approved to receive assistance for this financial education resource.
 
“This is awesome!” stated Steve DeLap, President of Vue Community CU. “I am excited to be able to offer this to our members and to increase financial literacy. Thank you so much!”
 
The Dakota Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors reviews each grant request, and each must be approved by majority vote. Credit unions that are members of the Dakota Credit Union Association can apply for a grant at any time; requests are reviewed during Foundation Board meetings. The next official in-person meeting takes place on Wednesday, August 17th in Fargo just prior to the Foundation’s Golf Scramble.

Don’t forget – the Dakota Credit Union Foundation is holding their 6th Annual Dakota Credit Union Foundation Golf Scramble on Wednesday, August 17, at the Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo, ND. This is an important fundraising event for the Foundation that allows us to continue to award these types of grants and scholarships. The golf outing is held in conjunction with the DakCU Professionals Forum. Come for the Forum and stay for the Foundation fun!
