Western Cooperative Credit Union (WCCU) is planning an open house celebration on Wednesday, March 27,
for the upcoming retirement of Melanie Stillwell. Please join them from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Main Branch in Williston, located at 1300 Bison Drive. The public is welcome; light refreshments and appetizers will be served. Melanie was hired at WCCU as the Executive Vice President in 1998 and was named president/CEO four years later. When she first started at WCCU, the credit union stood at $75 million in assets. Today, they are at an astounding $441 million with more than 18,000 members and eight locations from Williston to Dickinson to Beach. She can be proud of the credit union’s track record of improving people’s lives for both members and staff. During her years of service, Melanie has received several prestigious awards, including the Credit Union Hall of Leaders and Prairie Business magazine’s “Top 25 Women.” Although we will miss her, we wish her the best as she begins this new adventure in her life. Congratulations, Melanie! Comments are closed.
