Pierre, S.D. – Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) proudly makes an annual donation to the Capital Area United Way. Through individual pledges from the Pierre team and a corporate contribution, BHFCU donated $2,179.36 to the Capital Area United Way.
“We love giving to the Capital Area United Way knowing how much it increases the impact of our dollars,” said Chris McConnell, BHFCU Pierre Manager. “Our donation will make a meaningful difference in our region through the many programs and services supported by the United Way.” Employee pledges made up over half of the $2,100+ donation – a testament to the United Way’s connection with our mission to improve the communities we serve. By partnering with the Capital Area United Way, BHFCU can have a meaningful effect on families and individuals throughout Hughes and Stanley counties. The Capital Area United Way connects donations with programs and services that will make the most significant difference throughout Central South Dakota communities. They support 35 programs and services offered through 17 local agencies helping children and families thrive. BHFCU supports community needs through corporate contributions, employee fundraisers, and donations from members, staff, and community supporters to the Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
