Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) officially broke ground on its newest Member Service Center in Rapid City on Friday, October 22. Located at 5th and Minnesota, the new Member Service Center will provide convenient access closer to home for thousands of BHFCU members on Rapid City’s south side.
“With this new Member Service Center, BHFCU will add a location in the heart of Rapid City’s south side,” said Jerry Schmidt, president and CEO. “We have long held a goal to better serve our existing and future members in this growing part of the community. We are excited to move closer to meeting that goal as we break ground today.” The 3,200 square foot branch will be BHFCU’s 6th location in Rapid City, and 16th in South Dakota. The 5th and Minnesota branch will feature four drive-up lanes, four offices, and new Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) technology. “BHFCU will be working locally with Gustafson Builders, a division of Heavy Constructors, Inc., as our general contractor,” explained Schmidt. Currently, BHFCU has an ITM on the property which will remain in operation during construction. Completion of the location is scheduled for mid-summer 2022. Comments are closed.
