RAPID CITY, S.D. – In 2003, Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) began the VIBZ Scholarship Program to promote education and financial literacy in its communities. Over the past two decades, BHFCU has awarded more than 120 scholarships to local students.
This year, ten high school seniors from across South Dakota were selected to receive scholarships totaling $20,000. Demonstrating outstanding commitment, leadership, community service, and academic achievement, BHFCU is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 VIBZ Scholarships, each receiving a one-time scholarship of $2,000.
BHFCU supports community needs through corporate donations, employee fundraisers, and contributions from members, staff, and community supporters to the Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
