Minot, ND - Aspire Credit Union commemorated two milestones during the month of February. They celebrated a second birthday as Aspire Credit Union, as well as 85 years in business in the Minot community! In commemoration of their time in the Minot Community, the Aspire team committed to “85 Acts of Kindness” throughout the month to give back. Kindness can have varying degrees of impact and reach. Some small, some large, and one even stretched across the globe to a deployed member. During the month they completed several acts on “Random Acts of Kindness Day” on February 17. They distributed local gift cards to 20 random people throughout the community and delivered 10 packages of fresh-baked cookies to individuals, offices, and some members. They hosted a community movie night on February 24 providing 230 free tickets for a showing of Disney’s Encanto at the Oak Park Theater. Most importantly, throughout the month there were over 55 hours clocked volunteering in the community giving kindness in the form of staff time. Aspire Credit Union, formally Prairie Federal Credit Union has served the Minot area communities since 1937. A non-profit, member-owned financial institution, Aspire Credit Union strives to provide the best service, products, and rates possible to meet its member’s needs. Aspire Credit Union is a community-chartered credit union serving Bottineau, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Renville, and Ward Counties.
