In 2023, Aspire Credit Union (Minot, ND) reached a significant milestone by completing over 1,000 volunteer hours, an impressive feat that required dedication and teamwork. With 100 percent participation from their team of 22 employees, they were able to total 1,023 hours of community volunteerism. On average, each team member committed more than 46 hours back to the greater Minot community. Aspire’s community partners highly value their dedication to giving back, and often express amazement at how much the small crew can do to support their needs. “We love hearing from our local partners on how we can support them,” shared Rianne Kuhn, Marketing Communications Coordinator for Aspire. “We are known as a credit union that is always giving back, and we receive calls asking if we can ‘pull it off’ when things come up on a short timeline. Our team takes great joy in the opportunities created by our volunteerism.”
The credit union’s impact is much larger than just monetary gifts; they also provide something more valuable than money to give: their time. Aspire Credit Union has built a synergistic relationship with several nonprofits, churches, teachers, and worthy organizations within their community, taking pride in supporting and learning about the diverse needs in their area. With that knowledge, the team figures out the best ways to give back. The Alliance of Nonprofits recognized and honored Aspire Credit Union as the Most Impactful Business of the Year in 2023, as voted on by the nonprofit community. This recognition was positive reinforcement that Aspire Credit Union is finding ways to support the community, its members, and living up to the ‘People Helping People’ credit union motto. Aspire Credit Union has served the Minot area communities since 1937. A not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution, Aspire Credit Union strives to provide the best service, products, and rates possible to meet its members’ needs. Aspire Credit Union is a community-chartered credit union serving Bottineau, McHenry, McLean, Mountrail, Renville, and Ward Counties. Federally insured by NCUA. Comments are closed.
