​Area Federal Credit Union based in Aberdeen, South Dakota is seeking an individual to successfully lead its members and staff. 

Located in northeastern South Dakota, Area Federal Credit Union (AFCU) is a growing $190 million credit union.  AFCU is seeking an individual to successfully lead its members and staff.  The candidate will provide strategic direction in all areas of credit union operations and assist the board in setting the long-term strategic vision.  Experiences and understanding of consumer and commercial lending is a plus.  This individual should have a proven track record of community service, personnel management, communications, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with a high degree of integrity.  Preference will be given to applicants with credit union experience, including progressive management ideas.  A college degree is also preferred.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
