Announcing State Level National Award Winners

​Congratulations to these credit union recipients of the Desjardins, Dora Maxwell, and Louise Herring awards from our recent Summit. 
​Dakota Credit Union Association (DakCU) recently announced the 2021 state level award recipients of the National Awards Program as determined by the Credit Union National Association. The distinguished honors were made during the DakCU Summit awards banquet held on May 11, 2022, at the Holiday Inn – Rushmore Plaza in South Falls, SD. State level awards were judged by our peers at the Minnesota Credit Union Network, Utah Credit Union League, and the Cooperative Credit Union Association. 

Desjardins Adult and Youth Financial Education Awards recognize credit unions’ efforts to teach personal finance concepts and skills to members and nonmembers. Congratulations to the following:

First place for less than $50M in assets. *East River was also the First place national level winner in this category.

​Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Awards are given to a credit union or chapter for its social responsibility projects within the community. Credit unions receive the award for activities that help people or strengthen the structure of a community. The winners representing work completed in 2021 include:
