Ready for some NEW IDEAS?  Tips from a credit union “lifer” who has worked her way up through the ranks to become a brand expert and industry thought leader. 

We need creative and strategic thinking to help us look at our organizations and how we can best serve our members. Of course, that leads us grasping for innovative ideas, and ultimately, marketing of those new ideas and products.

Denise Wymore, Marketing Manager of Small Credit Union Initiatives at Zest AI, is a credit union “lifer” who started her career as a teller, and for the next 20 years, moved her way up and around the organizational chart working in just about every department. She made the leap to go out on her own and consult with credit unions all over the nation on her favorite subject: reputation, or as some people call it “brand.” She teaches Strategic Marketing at CUNA Management Schools and is a desired industry presenter, having spoken for CUES, CUNA, WOCCU and almost every state trade association in the United States. In 2022, Denise was inducted into the America’s Credit Union Museum HERstory exhibit!  

At the New Ideas Conference, Denise will present Innovation in Credit Unions, an Oxymoron? With her excellent insights, innovative ideas, and creative decision making, she will lead us from thinking how CAN we do this to how WILL we do this! She has a special passion for the challenges smaller credit unions face, and will share some great examples of how credit unions have led the way when they take the risk and try something new.
