by Lindsey Hefta, Director of Marketing Greetings SWAP contributors and SWAP advisory team members! I am absolutely thrilled to share this Q4 – 2022 recap from our first full year of our exciting State-Wide Awareness Program. We hit OVER 24.4 MILLION IMPRESSIONS IN THE DAKOTAS! That number doesn’t even include the monthly printed newspaper ads that have been running in published newspapers across both states, nor does it include the extra social media posts we have been doing. Here are some stats you may find interesting:
From the national CU Awareness digital campaign: “Research conducted in Q4 2022 revealed a slight setback in our national consumer consideration results, as well as a decline in unaided consideration for both national and community banks. However, our program has made significant strides in enhancing credit unions' consideration as checking/savings account providers and lenders, with an increase of 8 points and 9 points respectively since 2019!” Contributors can see individual states’ digital advertising program performance at any time. CU Awareness also dispersed new organic social media assets at the end of March. To access and download these, visit the asset types section within Contributor HQ. Finally, if you have not yet renewed SWAP heading into this new year – I hope these positive results may sway you into the “yes” column. It is not too late to participate, and we have more great CU awareness plans that are being put into action right now! If you have already renewed for another year, and you would like to submit yourself or a fellow staff member to be involved on our SWAP advisory team, please send their contact information to me. I welcome your feedback, opinions, and advice from this previous year and any ideas you may have for our next year’s expenditures. Thank you again for a great year celebrating, honoring, and promoting the credit union difference. Contact Lindsey Hefta at [email protected] or 701.250.3968. Comments are closed.
