Kat Perkins

Keynote Motivational Speaker

Get ready to stand up and cheer once again for our “small town girl” Kat Perkins! She appeared on NBC’s The Voice Season 6 and advanced to the show’s finals. Mentored by Adam Levine, she climbed her way to fourth place. She is a native of Scranton, North Dakota located in the southwestern corner of the state. Kat now resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has released five albums since The Voice, with two of her singles charting inside #20 on the iTunes Charts. Along with full-time touring, Kat has founded The Rising Star Foundation and runs her own music camp in the Badlands of North Dakota. Music and education are her passion, and now, she is ready to inspire and entertain our credit union audience.  ​

Steve Rick

CUNA Mutual Group Chief Economist

​Let’s just say when Steve Rick speaks, credit unions listen! As the chief economist for CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, Wisconsin, his primary responsibilities include conducting strategic research, analysis, and forecasting of the financial services industry with special emphasis on the consumer and credit union markets. Steve has been a featured speaker at many DakCU events, as his expertise is always in high demand by our credit union CEOs, CFOs, and Operations Managers. His forecasts serve as a starting point for the strategic planning process and help to create a clear understanding of the underlying trends and links between the general economy, the financial services industry, and CUNA Mutual Group’s policy owners.

Lisa Ginter

CEO, CommunityAmerica Credit Union • CUNA Board Chair

Lisa Ginter is a celebrated leader in the credit union community as both the CEO of CommunityAmerica Credit Union and an influential figure in the business, civic and philanthropic arena. She has served in a leadership role at CommunityAmerica since she joined the organization in 1995; since becoming CEO in 2015, Lisa grew the credit union from a $1.5 billion to a nearly $4 billion organization in just five years. With a mission to help members achieve financial peace of mind at every life stage, she has inspired and advanced every division and line of business at CommunityAmerica. As the Official Banking Partner of the Kansas City Chiefs, and frequently named as Kansas City’s top Credit Union and ‘Best Place to Work,’ CommunityAmerica has become a powerhouse under her leadership. She is an advocate for credit unions on the national level, serving on the Executive Board of Directors for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Lisa’s name can often be found in both local and national headlines; she has been recognized among the ‘Top 100 Financial Executives’ by the national Business Journal and was selected as a ‘Power 100’ honoree by the Kansas City Business Journal for multiple years.

Jason Stverak

CUNA Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer

Jason Stverak currently serves as the Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Prior to that he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) Additionally, he has served as the Legislative Director and Lobbyist for Christians.
United for Israel Action Fund and as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Congressman Cramer in the U.S. House of Representatives. Jason has been a guest on nationally syndicated radio shows and has appeared on the Fox News channel. His writing has appeared in USA Today, National Review Online, Roll Call, The Hill, Politico, Fox News, Forbes, the Washington Examiner, and numerous other publications.

Jim Kasch

CEO, Canidae Consulting • Founder and CEO, Buy Local Spend Local

Jim Kasch is a 25-year credit union industry veteran who has held senior level positions at Partner Federal Credit Union, serving The Walt Disney Company, as well as CEO of Darden Employees Federal Credit Union. He is now the principal at Canidae Consulting, which provides strategic guidance to credit unions; Member Intelligence Group, which provides member engagement surveys for credit unions; and Buy Local Spend Local, which connects credit unions and their members to locally owned businesses. Jim’s companies’ services are offered to our credit unions through a partnership with the League.

Anthony Mondello

Assistant Vice President of Sales, Envisant

Anthony Mondello is the AVP of Sales at Envisant. His credit union career started in 1994 with a check printing company; he then worked with credit unions for their payments needs at FIS from 1998 until 2007 when he began a career in instant issuance, cutting-edge technology at the time.  After helping to make that technology mainstream, he came over to LSC, now Envisant, in 2015. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Anthony has successfully partnered with credit unions across the country, empowering them to bolster their product offerings and serve their members. He is a passionate advocate for financial education and a dedicated guide connecting credit unions with products and services that enrich members’ lives.

Greg Tomaszewicz

Senior Financial Strategist, The Baker Group

Greg Tomaszewicz is a Senior Financial Strategist with The Baker Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Greg spent twelve years working for a fixed income broker/dealer in New York, where he helped financial institutions across the country in evaluating their balance sheet risks and opportunities. In addition, he worked to develop new analytics to aid those clients in meeting the challenges of an ever-changing economic environment. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stony Brook University. He is a registered representative and general securities principal with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and holds his series 7, 63 and 66 licenses.

Glory LeDu

CEO, League InfoSight and CU Risk Intelligence

Glory LeDu is the CEO of League InfoSight and CU Risk Intelligence. Both companies provide compliance and risk management solutions to credit unions nationally through credit union league and association partners. LeDu’s background includes over 20 years in the financial industry; she is passionate about compliance and regularly provides compliance training to credit union employees, officials and examiners. She also serves on the Board of Directors for a local credit union, CU Vendor Management (CUVM) and for CU Risk Intelligence. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University and a Master of Science degree from Pace University.

Tonya Voltolina

Founder and CEO, Eleven Performance Group

Tonya Voltolina has spent two decades as a senior leader at credit unions, including CFO, CHRO, Vice President of Risk Management, Vice President of Operations, and Vice President of Member Services. Tonya is also a two-time certified examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In 2018 she founded Eleven Performance Group, delivering proprietary leadership development and performance excellence programs for credit unions across the country. EPG has partnered with DakCU to deliver the iLead development program for emerging leaders.
