As you prepare to head to Box Elder for DakCU’s Annual Summit, May 12-14 at The Box, Box Elder, SD we have a few last-minute reminders for your checklist!
Golfers. Please note that all golf registration will take place at The Box ONLY this year and will NOT be available at the course. ALL golf registration will happen on Tuesday, May 12 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13 at the registration table. Mulligans and extend-a-putts will be available at registration with proceeds going to the Dakota Credit Union Foundation. Golf will kick off at 8:30am on Thursday, May 14 at the Elks Golf Course. Golf team and individual prizes will be awarded during the exhibitor showcase & social that evening. Bus Tour. Non-golfers: Grab breakfast early at The Box on Thursday May, 14 beginning at 6:30 a.m. If you registered for the cave tour, please plan to load the bus before 8:00 a.m., as it departs promptly at 8:00 a.m. from the south door. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt as the cave stays 58° year-round and wear sturdy shoes. GAC Silent Auction Items. We are asking each credit union to donate items for the silent auction and/or gift card raffle. Funds raised are used to provide financial assistance scholarships to DakCU members from North and South Dakota who attend the GAC Conference and other meetings, such as Fall Legislative and Regulatory Hike the Hill events. Please deliver your donations to the Summit registration table as soon as possible upon arrival. Bid at the Silent Auction. The GAC Silent Auction opens at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14. Support the DakCU Foundation Calendar Raffle! Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased from any Foundation board member. It’s a simple way to give back while having a chance to win throughout the month of June. Be sure to connect with a board member and secure your ticket! Exhibitor Showcase. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Vendor Social and Exhibitor Showcase on Wednesday, May 13 starting at 6:30 p.m. Join us to meet and gather information from many of DakCU’s preferred strategic business partners. Register at the exhibitor booths for a chance to win some great prizes! Not Your Granny's Bingo. Don’t forget—Thursday night is Not Your Granny’s Bingo! Stick around after the Awards Banquet for a high-energy evening of music, prizes, and fun with fellow attendees. What to Wear. Dress is business casual for Summit. Think polished but comfortable, with layers for varying temperatures throughout the day and evening events.
